What happens after I register my child for a coding course or semester? 

Step 1: Coding Classes will review the customer's selected class days and class time

Step 2: Depending on when (i.e. the order) the participant was registered, if there is space in the class of the selected 1st Choice day and time (e.g. Mondays at 3pm), then Coding Classes will place the participant in that class

Step 3: If there is no space in the customer's 1st Choice day and time, then Coding Classes will check the availability of the customer's 2nd Choice day and time; if there is space, then Coding Classes will place the participant in that class

Step 4: If there is no space in the customer's 2nd Choice day and time, then Coding Classes will place the participant in the class day and time that is available

Step 5: Coding Classes will send the customer an email that contains A) the participant's class schedule; B) the name of the participant's Coding Coach; C) the link to the online coding classes room; and D) a few basic need-to-knows
 

How will my child log into the online coding class? 

Each time a participant is registered for a new course or semester, the customer will receive the online coding class room link via email for that paid course or semester.  The participant will use that link each time to enter the classes of their new course.

What are the available days for the online coding classes? 

* Monday - Thursday

* Fridays (Make-up Days)

What are the available times for the online coding classes? 

Time Block 1: 2:00pm - 3:00pm EST

Time Block 2: 3:15pm - 4:15pm EST

Time Block 3: 4:30pm - 5:30pm EST

Can I request to change my child's coding class day or time?

Customers can request to change the participant's class day and/or time, by completing the Request Schedule Change form.  However, class days and time will not be changed in the middle of a semester, nor will they occur if there is no availability in the desired class days and time.

How long is each online coding class?

Our online coding classes are typically one hour long.

What happens if my child misses a coding class?

If a participant misses a class, then the customer might be sent a makeup day (if available) or a link to a video recording of the missed class (to be watched).

Can I sit in on the coding class with my child?

Our online coding classes are only for elementary and middle school participants; adults may not enter the virtual coding class rooms.

Can I get a refund if my child does not like the coding classes?

A refund is only given if a participant has not yet started the registered course or semester; refunds are not given for missed classes or if a participant is temporarily discharged from the class (e.g. due to technical issues or not abiding by the Coding Classes Code Of Conduct).
